After an early morning breakfast from your hotel you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the land of Uganda’s mountain Gorillas. En route you will make a stopover at the Equator where you will have photo shoots and marvellous experiments plus a visit to the craft centre for your shopping plus a cup of tea if you wish to have one
After your breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide shall drive you the tracking point or park head quarters from where the head game ranger will brief you at 8:00 am. He will lead you, through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for the giant mountain Gorillas. You will have the company of an armed game ranger to scare away any unfriendly wild animals by shooting in the air but also you will have the un armed rangers who will pave for the way leading you to where the gorillas are for that day. Potters who help you carry any luggage such as packed lunch, water and any other items such as cameras are available at only 10-15$. In case one fails to take on the trek of the steep mountains these potters do the pushing as well and when you totally a stretcher shall be called in but at a fee 300-400$.
Once tracked, you shall be given 1 hour to view and interact with these beautiful primates plus taking photographs.
After this trek you will trek back to the starting point and find your guide who will drive you to Lake Bunyonyi where you will rest at the most scenic volcanic lake in the world with 25 islands.
Have breakfast early morning, after get briefed by your guide before driving back to Kampala. You will have lunch en route at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara where you can have an optional visit to the cultural museum that has a variety of antiquities and books about cultures of the west. After lunch proceed on your journey to Kampala.
Arrive in Kampala late in the evening which marks the end of this gorilla Uganda safari trip.
